At Petsintentions, our products are thoughtfully formulated for dog grooming and everyday wellness. Please always follow the directions and safety information provided with each individual product.

General Product Safety

Before using any Petsintentions product:

  • Read the product label and directions carefully.

  • Check that the product is appropriate for your dog's age and circumstances.

  • Use only as directed.

  • Patch test topical products before first use.

  • Avoid contact with eyes, nose, mouth, inner ears, genitals and broken skin unless the product specifically states otherwise.

  • Discontinue use if irritation or an unexpected reaction occurs.

  • Keep products securely stored when not in use.

Puppies

Not every Petsintentions product is suitable for young puppies.

Some products may be recommended only for dogs over 12 weeks of age. Please check the individual product page and label before use.

Pregnant & Nursing Dogs

If your dog is pregnant, nursing or has an existing health condition, we recommend speaking with your veterinarian before introducing new grooming or wellness products.

Cats & Other Animals

Unless specifically stated otherwise, Petsintentions dog products are formulated for dogs only.

Do not assume a product suitable for dogs is also appropriate for cats or other animals.

Essential Oils & Botanical Ingredients

Selected Petsintentions products may contain carefully chosen essential oils, botanical extracts, hydrosols, plant oils and other ingredients appropriate to the individual formulation.

Natural and botanical ingredients can still cause sensitivities in individual animals. Always follow the product-specific directions and recommended usage.

Skin Sensitivities & Allergies

Every dog is different. A product that is well tolerated by most dogs may not be suitable for every individual dog.

If your dog has known allergies or particularly sensitive skin, review the ingredients before use and consider discussing new products with your veterinarian.

If significant redness, swelling, persistent itching or another concerning reaction occurs, discontinue use and seek veterinary advice.

Storage

Follow the storage directions provided with each product. Unless otherwise stated, products should be kept securely closed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.
